Kent Watersports will expand marketing base

Posted on

Kent Watersports, a New London, Ohio-based water sports and marine products company, is forming a sales and marketing organization in Minnesota to expand the reach of the company’s multibrand portfolio.

The sales and marketing team will include Dave Cook, general manager and executive vice president; Rob Morine, vice president of sales and Mary Snyder, vice president of marketing. They will be responsible for driving the company’s objectives of new product innovation, additional product and service offerings and new business development.

“This strategic alliance will expand on Kent’s proven track record of success in the marine market,” said Bob Archer, CEO of Kent Watersports, in a statement. “At the same time, it will help us increase market share and enter new, under-served markets.

“We will continue to partner with and service our current marine distributors and OEM customers, and maintain our focus on quality, cost, delivery, and design innovation at the most competitive prices in the industry for these core customers,” Archer added.

Founded in 1959, Kent Watersports is a leader in marine distribution and personal flotation. Other brands under the Kent umbrella include Connelly/CWB/ProLine; HO Sports/Hyperlite/Accurate/WakeKite; Liquid Force/Maven/Straight Line; O’Brien; and Kidder.
