Channel Blade recently appointed Richard M. Jamin vice president of sales and marketing.
Jamin has more than 20 years leadership experience in sales, marketing, business and product development. In his new position, he will oversee U.S. and international sales and marketing efforts. He also will play a role in shaping Channel Blade’s overall strategic direction in support of an expanding list of OEM and dealer clients worldwide.
In addition, Jamin will co-sponsor Channel Blade’s first Client Advisory Council, composed of OEM and dealer client members.
Jamin spent most of his career at Trader Publishing Co., where he held several positions of increasing responsibility. He served as executive vice president and general manager at the Employment Guide and president of Auto Trader Publishing.
He received a bachelor’s degree from St. Petersburg (Fla.) College. He also has studied at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Program for Executives and Harvard Business School.

Marine and industrial engine distributor Laborde Products added three employees to its team.
Chip Diamond joins Laborde as production manager. He’s responsible for product outflow to fulfill customer orders as well as inventory management. Previously a product development engineer at General Motors, Diamond received a Colleague of the Year Award from the company’s research and development department.
As Laborde’s controller, Kristin Brewer assists with inventory as well as manages client accounts and financial statements. Brewer draws from 10 years experience at Laborde.
Julie Davis serves as office administrator. Previously working in accounts payable, her main responsibilities are human resources and assisting in every department to complete projects.

Cabo Yachts appointed Don Smith director of sales.
With more than 23 years marine industry experience, he will be responsible for managing the Cabo dealer network. Prior to taking on this role, Smith was a sales manager at Cabo, covering the East Coast of the United States.
Before joining the company, he was the Cabo brand manager for Marine Max, Cabo’s dealer in Florida. During his six-year tenure with Marine Max, Smith earned numerous dealership achievement awards as a store manager and was responsible for the integration of CaboYachts into the dealership.
Together with Albemarle Boats and Hatteras Yachts, Cabo is part of the Hatteras Collection suite of the Brunswick Boat Group.
