Maretron names Kip Wasilewski sales manager for the Eastern North America region.
Maretron, a leading developer and manufacturer of marine electronic networked instrumentation, announced the appointment of Kip Wasilewski as its new sales manager for the Eastern North America sales region.
Wasilewski, a graduate of Rider University, brings 24 years experience in the marine electronics industry to his new position.
He will oversee and manage the continuing development of its distributor, dealer and boatbuilder programs.
Maretron’s Eastern North America region encompasses the area from Maine to Texas and includes the Caribbean.
“Kip’s lengthy experience in management roles with major retailers of marine electronics has been just the right type of activities to help him relate to the needs of our distribution channels,” said Larry Anderson, vice president of sales and marketing at Maretron.
“There couldn’t be a more opportune time to join a company like Maretron who has placed their emphasis on NMEA 2000 networked systems for boats,” Wasilewski said. “The old days of point-to-point wiring are rapidly coming to a close and the new open network standard is changing the way electronics are installed on boats.”
