Colligo picks Washington-based distributor

Posted on

Port Townsend Rigging of Port Townsend, Wash., has been selected to distribute Colligo Marine’s Colligo Synthetic Systems standing rigging hardware.

Owned by Lisa Vizzini and Dan Kulin, Port Townsend Rigging has been providing custom sailboat rigging services for 13 years.

CSS is an easy-to-install, lightweight system that makes it practical to use synthetic line in place of stainless wire for standing rigging on sailboats, according to Mesa, Ariz.-based Colligo. The system components — Line Terminator end fittings, Chainplate Distributors and Titanium Brackets — are one-quarter the weight of stainless, corrosion resistant and easy-to-splice with 12 strand line. No turnbuckles are needed.
