MIATC selects board of directorsPosted on
The Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast in Florida elected its board of directors for 2008-09.
The newly elected officers are: Marty Laven from the Dockominium Group, president; Steve Haigis, Sebastian Inlet Marina, vice president; Bill Hill, The Harborage Yacht Club and Marina, treasurer; and Tim Grabenbauer of Vero Beach Municipal Marina continues as secretary.
New directors are: Art Cox, owner of A&J Boatworks in Port Salerno; Gail Byrd of Coastal Realty of Stuart and Martin County Commissioner for the Florida Inland Navigation District; Joanne “Jody” Foster, maritime law specialist with Guy, Yudin and Foster LLP, attorneys; Tom Sanders of HMY Yacht Sales and Waterway Marina; and Ed Smith of Palm Beach Yacht Sales-Sykes Marine Holdings.
Continuing as directors through June 2009 are: Roger Field, Chapman School of Seamanship, senior director; John Yudin, Guy & Yudin LLP, past president; John Hennessee of the Fish House Art Center Gallery; and Danna Small of DLS Environmental Services.
