Moeller Marine Products of Sparta, Tenn., has named Kit Rehm vice president of sales and marketing. He will report to senior vice president Bob Beagle.
Rehm was the aftermarket business manager for Moeller and had responsibility for bringing stability and growth to this business segment. An industry veteran with an extensive sales and marketing background, Rehm was instrumental in designing and implementing Moeller’s aftermarket sales and marketing programs, according to the company.
“There are few people in the industry who posses Kit’s knowledge of the sales and marketing function,” Beagle said in a statement. “He will leverage these strengths to drive the kind of improvements at Moeller Marine Products that will allow us to grow our leadership position in the markets we serve.”
Moeller Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of rotationally molded fuel and water tanks serving a diverse customer base.
Steve Levine has joined Globe Wireless in Palm Bay, Fla., as director of sales for North America. As his first task, he will assist Globe Wireless with the opening of its 15th international sales and support office in Fort Lauderdale.
“Steve has an excellent, long-standing record of service to the maritime communications industry,” said Frank Coles, president and CEO of Globe Wireless, in a statement. “For many years, he has demonstrated a customer-oriented focus and deep industry knowledge. This will provide Globe Wireless prospects and customers with the highest level of service.”
Levine’s background includes nine years with Stratos Global as business development manager, where he was responsible for Inmarsat and Iridium channel development and marketing. He was heavily involved in maritime VSAT offerings, including iDirect and Sea Tel antenna systems. He also has experience with PictureTel video conferencing systems. Levine spent three years with Digital Video Systems and 15 years with Maxell Corp.
