IMI courses, events available online

Posted on

Registration for all courses and events offered through the International Marina Institute can now be completed and submitted online.

Courses include Intermediate Marina Management, Advanced Marina Management, and the Marine Service Manager’s school — co-produced with the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association.

Applications can be accessed at the Association of Marina Industries Web site, www.marinaassociation.org, through the “Upcoming IMI Training Opportunities” tab on the left side of the home page.

Applications for Certified Marina Manager candidates may also be completed and submitted online. The application can be accessed by going to the AMI home page through the “Learn more about CMM Certification” tab. The new online system not only saves time for the applicants, but it also allows AMI to maintain CMM applications electronically for forwarding to the CMM review committee. This should help expedite the review and approval process.

AMI has also developed applications for its IMI training courses in the form of writeable and savable PDFs. These applications are also available on the AMI Web site under their respective training programs.

Applicants can still mail or fax applications to AMI, 50 Water St., Warren, RI 02885, or fax to (401) 247-0074.
