NMEA offering third training course in Nova Scotia

Posted on

Following the success of its first two training courses in Canada this spring, the National Marine Electronics Association is offering a third course next month in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The first two NMEA training courses were held in Toronto and Vancouver, “with great support from the marine industry in these regions,” the NMEA said in a press release. Dealers from Eastern Canada had expressed interest in attending these courses, but with the distance, the cost of travel and the timing involved, many could not attend.

A Marine Electronics Installer course will be held Sept. 17, and an NMEA 2000 Networking seminar will be held Sept. 18. The courses will be held at Four Points by Sheraton Halifax.

Pre-registration is required. Contact NMEA at (410) 975-9425 or visit www.nmea.org.
