NMMA adds houseboat feature to Louisville show

Posted on

The National Marine Manufacturers Association is introducing a new houseboat-specific feature at the 2009 Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow, taking place Jan. 24-Feb. 1 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

The new section will feature the latest in houseboats and related gear, equipment and services. The area will have its own entrance and set of hours; it will open the second weekend of the Louisville show, from Jan. 29-31.

Several of the industry’s leading houseboat manufacturers — including Fantasy Custom Yachts, Sumerset Houseboats & Cruisers, Stardust Cruisers and Thoroughbred Houseboats — have already committed to participate in the show.

“Manufacturers couldn’t find a better location to showcase their newest products and services,” given the popularity of houseboats on Kentucky lakes, and the Louisville show attendees cannot be overstated, said Kim Muncy, manager of the Louisville Boat, RV and Sportshow, in a statement.
