Grand Banks Yachts named Matthew Wroblewski its new quality assurance manager.
Wroblewski is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a lean manufacturing expert, according to Grand Banks. The company says he also brings a proven track record of success as the former quality assurance manager at Sea Ray Boats, where he had worked since 2003.
“He has a long and impressive list of accomplishments to his credit and is the right person to help Grand Banks strengthen our quality leadership position,” said Rob Livingston, president of Grand Banks Yachts, in a statement.
Wroblewski holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science degree while studying operations management at Miami University of Ohio.

David Brien was appointed vice president of finance at Canada Metal, manufacturer and distributor of Martyr anodes, Octopus hydraulic and mechanical drives, and Intellisteer remote steering systems.
Brien brings more than 15 years of corporate financial and management experience to his new role. As a member of Canada Metal’s corporate executive committee, he will also drive global finance within Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd.
Canada Metal is the parent company of CMP Global and has operations in Canada, China and Barbados.
