Louis Dvorak joined the sales team at Northrop and Johnson Yachts of Fort Lauderdale.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Dvorak bought his first sailboat while working for his congressman in Washington, D.C. A few years later, he landed a job at an Annapolis yacht brokerage.
He then went to work for Gary Oviatt, who had just left Woods & Oviatt, one of the largest Florida brokerage firms at the time. After years of selling Alaskans and similar cruising yachts, Dvorak began looking toward megayachts.
“The idea of selling crewed yachts and moving into the bigger international yacht market is something I’ve been looking at for the last couple years,” Dvorak said in a statement.
