SeaArk goes pink in the fight against cancer

Posted on

SeaArk Boats created a new pink camouflage pattern for some of its boats to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity to help fight breast cancer.

The pink camouflage is painted on six of the Monticello, Ark., aluminum-boat builder’s 20-foot RiverCat and Vee Cat models. The pattern is similar to other camouflage patterns used on outdoor gear, but in pink. SeaArk also has added a pink ribbon with the SeaArk decal to symbolize breast cancer awareness.

The pink boats are for sale from selected dealers across the country, and SeaArk will donate the proceeds from each sold between now and Dec. 31 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“SeaArk sells so many boats in regular camouflage patterns, we thought this would be a good way to bring attention to the cause,” said SeaArk president, Robin McClendon, in a statement.
