OSI Geospatial inks $1 million Coast Guard contract

The Coast Guard awarded a $1 million contract to OSI Geospatial to upgrade the navigation systems on the buoy tender fleet.

Ottawa, Ontario-based OSI provides advanced geospatial systems and software that enable shared real-time situational awareness for military, safety and security applications. The company will upgrade the hardware for the ECPINS navigation systems installed on the buoy tenders.

“We have been working with this customer for many years and currently have navigation systems installed on 41 USCG vessels,” said Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of OSI Geospatial, in a statement.
