RBFF will talk about boater participation at IBEX

Posted on

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation will be on hand at next week’s International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference to discuss the organization’s efforts to increase participation in boating.

“The revamped TakeMeFishing.org is working harder to drive boat registrations, promote safe boating practices, and provide users the tools they need to purchase and maintain a boat,” said Frank Peterson, RBFF president and CEO in a statement.

RBFF staff will also share information about the Anglers’ Legacy program and how it impacts the industry, discuss a pilot program under way to address declining boat registrations, reveal the latest features on TakeMeFishing.org, and discuss the Triple-A baseball promotion that gave away a boat, engine and trailer package.

For information, contact Alexandria, Va.-based RBFF at (703) 519-0013 or visit the organization’s Web site.
