Dr. Shrink, an international supplier of shrinkwrap and installation accessories, chose Hansen Marine as its new distributor in Sweden.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Hansen Marine specializes in American marine and auto parts.

American Global Yacht Group was named an exclusive Southport Boatworks dealer for the east coast of Florida — from Miami to points north, including Jupiter.

Southport Boatworks is based in Leland, N.C.

AGYG, with offices in Florida, Maryland, Toronto, Seattle and Australia, sells both new and preowned boats.

CrossCurrent Marine was selected as the sole J/Boats representative in the Southeastern U.S. market. From its newly opened office in Sarasota, Fla., CrossCurrent will distribute all current J/Boat models to clients in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

At its annual meeting and show, Kellogg Marine Supply named Andrew Colloton, from Awlgrip, its Representative of the Year.

Kellogg Marine Supply, based in Old Lyme, Conn., has distributed Awlgrip products for more than 25 years.

Colloton was selected for the honor “for his total commitment to meeting Kellogg Marine’s overall quality service initiatives throughout the 2008 season,” the company said in a statement

Colloton has represented Awlgrip in Connecticut for two years. Prior to joining Awlgrip, he worked with Hayn Marine for four years.
