Florida marina continues $22 million renovationPosted on
Old Port Cove in North Palm Beach, Fla., recently completed the second phase of a $22 million renovation of its north and south basins.
“Everyone involved in the project really put forth a tremendous effort to get the project completed by the beginning of the season,” said Rick Morgan, president and chief operating officer of Old Port Cove Holdings, in a statement. “It came together beautifully and has definitely been worth the wait.”
The renovations to the South Marina means it is now double the size of the newly renovated North Marina. Slip sizes range from 45 to 190 feet. There also is a new diesel fuel dock and fueling equipment with two pumps, redesigned upland areas for parking, and a redecorated service building.
Old Port Cove Marina received grants totaling 75 percent of its pumpout equipment costs from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the installation of new pumpout facilities.
