Dockscape, a new company that specializes in electronic communications solutions for the marine industry, launched a Web-based service designed to help companies strengthen customer relations and grow their businesses.
The service allows yard and marina operators to produce a range of professional online communications, from e-newsletters to customer bulletins and promotions. The goal is to improve customer service by keeping them informed about their boats and maintenance, as well as those who care for their vessels.
“When it comes to boats, the most important relationship a boat owner has is with his or her yard or marina,” said Jack Gierhart, co-founder of Dockscape, in a statement.
Dockscape helps companies create messages, then manages the details of formatting, assembling, sending and tracking the communications. The process gives managers the ability to quickly produce high-quality communications that look like the work of a full-service ad agency, according to Dockscape.
