Hacker Boat adds production facility

Hacker Boat Company has expanded its production facilities with the acquisition of a 32,000-square-foot facility in Ticonderoga, N.Y.

The company, which builds Hacker-Craft mahogany boats, now has five locations, including two new acquisitions in Hague, N.Y. The Decker Hill location offers inside and outside storage on nine acres. The other acquisition, Kings Boat Works, offers inside and outside storage and a service/repair facility.

The other locations are the main Hacker boatbuilding facility on Lake George in Silver Bay, N.Y., and the downtown Ticonderoga facility responsible for all restoration services.

The company also announced that Daniel Gilman was named sales manager.

Gilman has a range of professional sales experience, including corporate sales at Eastern Air Lines and pharmaceutical sales and management at GlaxoSmithKline.
