Octopus updates Web site; site for women launchedPosted on
Octopus, a Canadian autopilot drive manufacturer, updated its Web site with more service-oriented features to make installations and repairs easier.
The site, www.octopusmarine.ca, includes an overview of steering systems, downloads for product selection and installation, and service procedures for sail- and powerboats. The site also features detailed descriptions, photos and performance data on hydraulic pumps, linear actuators and mechanical drive units.

Three women sailors — Vanessa Williams, Debbie Roser and Radeen Cochran — have launched a new interactive Web site for female sailors at www.WmWAVES.com.
The Web site aims to bring women sailors together to share things of interest, from coping with worries and fears to suggestions on improving technical skills. The site also includes cautionary tales, health and fitness tips, and recipes.
