Sea Tow boat safety tour starts at N.Y. boat showPosted on
The 2009 Boating Safety Challenge tour kicks off this weekend at the New York National Boating Show.
Organized by the Sea Tow Foundation for Boating Safety and Education, the tour encourages show visitors to test their knowledge of safe boating with a safe boating test, hands-on activities such as tying knots and putting on a life jacket in less than 30 seconds, as well as a Passport to Safety contest.
The tour includes stops at boat shows in New York (Booth No. 926); Nashville, Tenn.; Atlanta; Hartford, Conn.; Atlantic City, N.J.; Miami; Boston; Long Beach, Calif.; Minneapolis; Tacoma, Wash.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Corpus Christi, Texas.
