DockMaster restructures management team

Posted on

DockMaster Software has repositioned its key management team and hired a new director of operations following the recent departure of Art and Buddy Peacock, the brothers who founded Software Support Team.

Exuma Technologies, DockMaster’s parent company, had purchased the assets of Software Support Team from Marex in 2002. Since that time, Art Peacock has served as vice president of product marketing for Exuma, while Buddy Peacock was the chief technical officer.

Cam Collins, who was appointed president and CEO of DockMaster in 2002, has spent the last several years developing a team of marine industry and software professionals. The team includes Adam Noble, manager of software development; Bob Derks, director of client services; Clark Beaty, vice president of sales; and Jerry Harrold, controller.

New to the team is Margo Hunt, who was recently named director of operations. Hunt has 35-plus years of marine industry experience, including ownership and management of marine dealerships; director of dealer systems, eCommerce and national customer service for Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing; and director of e-business for MarineMax. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

“I am very pleased with the team we have assembled,” Collins said in a statement. “Our foundation has never been stronger. We are excited about our direction and will continue to focus on our core mission of delivering value and quality to our customers.”
