Harris Battery expands Ohio headquarters

Posted on

Harris Battery doubled the size of its corporate headquarters and regional distribution center in Bolivar, Ohio, to 44,000 square feet.

“The expansion translates into increased inventory and our ability to respond even more quickly and cost-effectively to our customers’ requests in the future,” company president Jerry Harris said in a statement.

He said the expansion was necessary with Harris Battery’s growth from a regional company to a national one. Last year, Harris became the U.S. factory warehouse for Discover Energy, a world leader in stored energy solutions, and earlier this year it expanded its operations to the West Coast with the acquisition of Discover Energy’s Los Angeles branch.

Harris Battery provides replacement and original-equipment batteries for a range of applications, including marine, RV, commercial, industrial, renewable energy, uninterruptible power supply, and other applications.
