New yacht facility opens in San DiegoPosted on
The Wharf at Point Loma in San Diego is the region’s newest yachting facility, featuring waterfront dining, shopping, a large outdoor event park, and 50 of San Diego’s largest slips, for yachts to 175 feet.
The marina is located in the America’s Cup Harbor with direct access to the Pacific.
The facility, developed by a partnership between Driscoll Inc. and GB Capital Holdings LLC, was designed and built by Bellingham Marine. It features slips from 40 to 100 feet in length in single configurations, and end ties for yachts to 175 feet.
“We utilized Bellingham’s mini-frame design at Pier 32, in National City, and have had a great response from our tenants,” said Eric Leslie, director of marina operations at The Wharf, in a statement.
