Mariners General Insurance Group named Phil Quartararo commercial accounts and vessel insurance specialist. He will be based out of the Seattle office and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial marine manufacturers, agencies and brokers.

“His extensive experience in the marine industry working with companies of all sizes will no doubt help us establish relationships with many of the major commercial marine facilities,” said Craig Chamberlain, president and CEO of Mariners General Insurance Group, in a statement. “We have implemented a plan to use his marine industry knowledge and experience to work for current and future clients.”

Prior to joining Mariners General Insurance Group, Quartararo worked for PYI Inc. as national product manager for Jefa Products and R & D Drivetrains. His experience includes boatbuilding and repair, rigging and spar building, marine hardware and drivetrain equipment, specification and service.

Tesa Tape promoted Sean Struble to national marine sales specialist.

Struble will be responsible for adhesive tape sales and service to boat and yacht builders and suppliers throughout the United States. He relocated to Tampa, Fla., from Atlanta for the new position.

Prior to his appointment, Struble served Tesa as a sales specialist covering industrial markets in the southeastern U.S., and as a marketing product manager.
