The Charleston (S.C.) City Marina received the PIANC 2009 Jack Nichol Award for outstanding marina design.

According to the award letter, “The jury considered that Charleston City Marina best represented the technical, functional, aesthetic and environmental award criteria.”

Applied Technology & Management assisted in the 10-year redevelopment of the marina, which resulted in enhanced facilities (dockside and upland) and a revenue stream growth from $500,000 a year to more than $12 million a year, according to ATM.
