Sea Tow hands out awards, promotions

Sea Tow Services International recently held its 26th annual meeting at the Sandestin Resort in Destin, Fla.

At the gathering, company founder and CEO Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer announced a series of executive-level promotions intended to better reflect the company’s current structure.

Those promotions include Capt. Joseph Frohnhoefer III, from vice president to COO of franchise operations; Kristen Frohnhoefer, from director to chief administrative officer of internal operations; Jim Foley, from comptroller to CFO; Capt. Tim Wilson, from director to vice president of franchise development; Capt. Charlie Zaloom, from director to vice president of business technology; Patrizia Zanaboni, from accounting manager to director of accounting/HR; and Emily Corman, from senior account executive to communications manager.

Frohnhoefer also formally introduced Commander Bob Backhaus (Coast Guard, retired) as the company’s new director of franchise operations.

At the awards ceremony, Sea Tow Fort Myers, led by co-owners Capt. Pat O’Brien and Mark Atherley, received the Franchise of the Year award. Additionally, Sea Tow Pamlico Sound was recognized as Sea Tow’s Rookie of the Year.

Awards also were given out for service efforts above and beyond the call of duty.
