Triumph, BRP awarded boat and engine contractPosted on
Triumph Boats and BRP were selected to provide 90 new boats and engines to replace the aluminum-boat fishing fleet at Totem Resorts in Ontario.
Totem Resorts president Eric Brown said the E-TEC engines will require less scheduled maintenance than the resorts existing fleet.
“Evinrude E-TEC is the only outboard that offers three years/300 hours without dealer-scheduled maintenance, which, combined with Evinrude superior fuel efficiency, reduces the operating costs by up to 43 percent compared to other outboards, said Roch Lambert, vice president and general manager of the Ski-Doo/Sea-Doo/Evinrude division for BRP, in a statement.
Genmar Holdings says the Roplene construction used by Triumph offers more impact resistance, better durability, a smoother and quieter ride, and lower maintenance than aluminum boats.
With our unique leasing program, Totem Resorts will take advantage of two premium products that are reliable, durable and the least costly to maintain and operate, Genmar chairman Irwin Jacobs said in a statement.
