Burger Boat Company participated in two successful boat shows this month.

The first was the Dubai International Boat Show, held March 3-7, showcasing vessels from both local and international builders. From March 12-14, Burger attended the inaugural Abu Dhabi Yacht Show.

“Burger experienced positive results at both shows, which offered opportunities for discussions with prospective clients regarding new construction projects, yachts under construction and informational exchanges that included the shipyard capabilities and Burger’s relationships with international designers, industry professionals, and brokers,” the company said in a release.

Burger Boat Company designs and builds custom yachts in aluminum and steel to 200 feet.

Organizers of the Feb. 20-22 National Houseboat Expo say there was an “overwhelming turnout of attendees” at the Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.

Specific attendance figures were not released.

Nearly 20 houseboats were on display at the show, which is sponsored by Houseboat magazine.

“A big thank you needs to go to those who attended or exhibited at our expo for their unwavering support,” show manager Greg Larsen said in a statement. “We enjoy being a part of the houseboating industry and look forward to contributing to the growth of this special niche in the years to come.”

This September, at the State Dock Marina on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, Houseboat magazine plans to take the show to the water. Dates are still being finalized.
