Ilse Rodewald was named to the newly-created position of application engineer for automated tape application at Tesa Tape.

She will support tape-automation processes within the corrugated industry and building/construction markets.

Prior to her new assignment, Rodewald served as a product developer in the research and development center at the company’s worldwide headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. She has been employed by Tesa since 2003.

Jonathan DiCandia of Marine Maintenance Inc. recently completed the American Boat & Yacht Council’s Marine Systems Certification program.

“At Marine Maintenance Inc., we believe that enrolling our marine technicians in ABYC training programs will help increase the quality of our customers’ boating experience,” company president Bob Pruitt said in a statement. “But what it really takes is the commitment of our employees to be able to advance their own knowledge by attending the ABYC program.”
