Regal Marine Industries appointed Christopher Spindler to its sales management team.

Spindler will handle the Northeast territory for the Orlando, Fla.-based sportboat, express cruiser and yacht builder and be responsible for inventory management, sales training and new dealer recruitment.

His Northeast area stretches from the Chesapeake north to the Canadian border and west to Pennsylvania.

Spindler joined Regal in 2005 as a sales and marketing assistant, and most recently worked as assistant Southeast regional manager, where he supported dealer inventory management initiatives.

Samson, a manufacturer of performance cordage, hired Greg Mozsgai, senior research and development engineer; Mark Pederson, research and development engineer; and Dylan Dundas, sales support technician.

Mozsgai comes to Samson with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from Trinity University in San Antonio. His experience includes microelectromechanical-systems design and fabrication. Most recently, he worked for a start-up spun out of the University of Illinois, manufacturing small fuel cells as battery replacements for portable electronics in both the consumer and industrial/military markets.

Pederson received his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Dakota and his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech. He has engineering project experience that includes a ship-deck motion platform for the U.S. Navy and a vertical-axis wind-turbine heat producing system.

Dundas brings a great deal of real-world experience to the customer-service oriented position of sales support technician. Dundas’ combination of international teaching, fishing, and project management provides a solid foundation for training international crews on splicing and rope handling, in addition to continuing Samson’s legacy of solid customer service.
