Mack Boring mourns passing of sales manager Moore

Posted on

Frank Moore Jr., the New England and Great Lakes regional sales manager for Mack Boring & Parts Co., died suddenly Feb. 28 at his home in North Attleboro, Mass. He was 45 years old.

In his 25 years with Mack Boring, Moore held management positions in sales, parts and branch operations at the company’s New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts locations. The company says he was instrumental in building the dealer network for Yanmar diesels and in supporting boatbuilders and naval architects for their diesel applications. He also represented Isuzu and Mitsubishi diesels for commercial vessels.

“Frank was a dedicated, hard-working and highly respected member of the Mack Boring team who always represented the company in a professional way and always had a great sense of humor,” Mack Boring president Steve McGovern said in a statement. “He will be sorely missed.”

Moore leaves his wife, Trish, and three children, Shannon, Daniel and Marissa, as well as his parents, Francis and Patricia Moore.
