Tracking Web site includes Google Earth interfacePosted on
Paradox Marine teamed up with EMS Satamatics to launch the new Nav-Tracker.com Web site.
Paradox Marine supplies wireless boat security systems, while EMS Satamatics provides telematics, asset tracking and monitoring services. The Web site, hosted by EMS, allows users of Paradox Marine’s Nav-Tracker GPS tracking, security and monitoring systems to manage their on-board systems remotely via the Web and track their vessel over an advanced Google Earth interface.
Nav-Tracker.com is a third generation tracking Web site that incorporates an advanced Google Earth interface. This allows users to overlay a trace of their vessel, or fleet of vessels, with their exact current location and where they have been. The new site allows users to track the movement, adjust the geo-fence radius and reporting intervals for a boat — or a fleet of boats — anywhere in the world.
Users also can arm/disarm the geo-fence and sensors from the Web site, ping/poll the vessel at any time for an exact position, and have up to 10 text or e-mail recipients for alerts. The site also allows multiple users to hold different levels of access, from view-only options to complete control of entire fleets.
