Veethree buys Teleflex’s gauge division

Posted on

Illinois-based Veethree, OEM supplier of mechanical and electronic instrumentation, acquired the assets of Teleflex’s gauge division.

Veethree will be manufacturing the existing Teleflex product line serving the marine and industrial markets in its 35,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Sarasota, Fla.

“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to continue the great traditions of superior quality and styling that Teleflex has brought to the instrumentation industry for the last forty years” said Shekhar Tewatia, vice president of Veethree, in a statement.

“This acquisition gives us a chance to enter the marine industry and consolidate Veethree’s position in the industrial segment,” Tewatia added. “We are also very fortunate that many members of the Teleflex team have decided to join us.”

Ummmm Veethree is NOT an Illinois company. They are an Indian company. Their NA offices are in Naperville. Assuming they don’t ship the toolings back to India this will be their first foray into overseas production.

  2. Veethree Distibutor

Veethree is an Illinois based company since 2003. It supplies product to over 60 OEMS in the US including GM, SIEMENS, CAT, JOHN DEERE, ISUZU, AMETEK, FIRE PUMP MANUFACTURERS, SULLAIR etc. etc. They just hired 50 employees of the Teleflex gauge business and ADDED 6 people to this team in Sarasota. They’ve bought a half a million dollars of equipment to add to this production facility. Proofreader seems to be a Faria Plant.
