Car sales could be stabilizing

Posted on

A recent uptick in automobile sales could mean the market has bottomed out, giving some hope that the downward spiral may finally be at an end.

While car sales fell for the 17th consecutive month in March, Chrysler and General Motors said dealer showroom traffic improved considerably last week as the potential for a GM or Chrysler bankruptcy rose, according to a New York Times report.

Our dealership (Kool Chevrolet) in Grand Rapids, MI had a very good month for both new/pre-owned sales and I am cautiously optimistic for improved traffic this next quarter.

We have a LONG ways to go before any kind of meaningful recovery.   What is happening in the stock market is what industry insiders refer to as a  SUCKERS RALLY.
Don’t get suckered in.  MORE ROUGH WATERS AHEAD.
