Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Scania, Seakeeper, Schrader Yacht Sales, Laser Performance and Safe Haven Systems by Carolina Waterworks.
For the last year, Mack Boring has been a Scania distributor in the Great Lakes region. Scania engines are used in a variety of applications, including ferries fishing boats, tugboats, pilot boats and rescue vessels.
Mack Boring is a leading diesel engine distributor headquartered in Union, N.J., with additional sales and service locations in Middleborough, Mass.; Wauconda, Ill.; and Wilmington, N.C.

Seakeeper says it has brought on one new American and six new international distributors to keep up with increasing demand of its Gyro Stabilization System.
In North America, Seaworthy Marine Supply will now cover Texas from its headquarters in Fulton. The company will complement Seakeeper’s established U.S. distributors: Mack Boring & Parts Co. of Union, N.J., and Atlantic Marine Power Systems of Fort Lauderdale.
Kemper en van Twist, located in Dordrecht, Netherlands, will handle its homeland, Belgium and Luxembourg. Athens-based Motocraft will manage Greece, and the Turkish market will be served by Marina Deniz.
Marine Express will cover Brazil from Sao Paulo, while Super Marine will service the Persian Gulf region, including Kuwait and the UAE. In Australia, Twin Disc in Virginia, Queensland, has been signed.

Pat Barry, service manager at Schrader Yacht Sales, of Point Pleasant, N.J., was recognized as a Yamaha outboard master technician, the dealership reports.
This represents the highest certification a Yamaha technician can attain.

Dinghy Locker @ Landfall entered into an agreement with LaserPerformance to become a full-line gold dealer from Darien, Conn., to New York City.
As of April 15, Dinghy Locker will stock all LaserPerformance boats and product categories including C420, Sunfish, Laser and V-15, as well as Seitech dollies and racks, and Storm boat covers and blade bags.
“Landfall has been offering the best products, service and insight for more than 25 years, and we are excited to be partnering with the leading manufacturer of racing and recreational dinghies,” said Capt. Henry Marx, president and founder of Landfall, in a statement.
In addition to carrying LaserPerformance’s racing brands, Dinghy Locker will also stock the full recreational line including Bahia, Bug, Pico, Sunfish, Vago and Zuma.

Safe Haven Systems by Carolina Waterworks is actively seeking dealers.
The company has a 60-day trial period and supplies advertising, marketing, customer service and technical support, as well as in-depth training.
Carolina Waterworks offers ad support for the first year and, after that, provides a co-op advertising plan. The program includes marketing materials, catalogs, flyers and ad slicks. A dealer support representative and design staff are also available to answer questions.
Training resources include videos, instruction manuals and comprehensive guidelines for selling and installing Safe Haven Systems. In-person training is also offered at Carolina Waterworks’ manufacturing facility or at dealer locations.
