Trade Only remembers a colleague

Posted on

Today, we at Soundings Trade Only remember with sadness and affection our late colleague JoAnn Goddard, who died unexpectedly one year ago today while covering the American Boating Congress in Washington, D.C.

As an associate editor for Trade Only, JoAnn was a capable professional, a well-liked and respected member of the small community where all of us work.

We miss her easy smile, her laughter and her lasting friendship.

Where has the year gone? It is really unbelievable that it has been a year since I first learned this sad news. I have thought of JoAnn  on numerous occasions throughout the past year. She left a lasting impression and her smile, smarts and genuine niceness will never ever be forgotten. Thanks for taking the time to remember her today and share this date with us who miss her! It says a lot about her that her colleagues have honored her memory today in this special way. I hope all these comments lift themselves up to the heavens!
