Dealer conference moves to OrlandoPosted on
The Marine Dealer Conference & Expo is moving to Orlando, Fla., this year, with the event set for Nov. 16-18 at the Coronado Springs Resort.
The theme for the 2009 conference is “GPS: Growth, Profitability and Solutions for Navigating Today’s Market.” Under this theme, dealers will have access to nearly twice content as last year.
As part of a five-year licensing agreement, Boating Industry magazine will be responsible for the overall creation and development of the annual dealer convention. The magazine will work closely with the MRAA convention committee to deliver educational content while assuming all sponsorship sales and marketing efforts.
The Orlando location is expected to generate greater participation from the dealer body. The Coronado features more than 86,000 square feet of exhibit space, of which the MDCE has more than 58,000 square feet already reserved.
