Entries sought for superyacht design awardsPosted on
Entries are now being taken for the 2009 International Superyacht Society Design Award program.
ISS is looking specifically for a list of all new custom-build projects completed, launched and delivered from May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009, that are 79 feet or larger LOA.
For this year only, because of its new eligibility timeline, ISS will also include vessels not entered in last year’s program that were completed, launched and delivered from Jan. 1, 2008, through April 30, 2008. They will be included in the New Build Projects as well in this year’s Design Awards Program.
Vessels that were entered in the 2008 Design Award Program are not eligible to enter again this year.
In the future, the ISS Design Awards program will include all vessels completed from May 1 in the previous calendar year through April 30 of the current year. This will allow for a more up-to-date accounting and judging of the industry’s superyacht new builds.
