National Harbor yacht show to benefit charityPosted on
The second annual Yacht Show at National Harbor on the Potomac, scheduled for this weekend, will benefit the Prince George’s County charity The Erikka A. Hayes Foundation.
The show will feature more than 50 boats from inflatables to the 85-foot Azimut motoryacht, all available for inspection. A demonstration dock will allow visitors to try out small boats before they buy. Tented exhibits lining the entire 600-foot length of the pier will include boating equipment, electronics, clothing, shoes and accessories.
The yacht show lounge will offer complimentary canapés provided by the Public House restaurant, as well as a cash bar and live entertainment. Net proceeds from the lounge will benefit the Erikka A. Hayes Foundation. The organization was founded in 2007 to educate and cultivate future leaders in the hospitality and food service industry in and around Prince George’s County, Md. and Washington, D.C.
