New group to hold San Diego boat showPosted on
A new group plans to hold a San Diego Boat show early next year, according to a report in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The show is owned by Sunroad Enterprises, which also owns Sunroad Marina at Harbor Island, where the show will take place in January 2010, organizers told the newspaper.
The National Marine Manufacturers Association last month reported it couldn’t continue producing a show in San Diego because of financial difficulties in the industry. It was one of three shows the NMMA announced it would no longer produce. The others were the Schaumburg Boat and Sportshow and the Virginia In-Water Boat Expo and Sailfest.
