Andy Lund was named CEO of Burlington, Wash.-based Nordic Tugs.
Lund owned one of the largest Grand Banks dealerships in the United States from 1995 to 2001 and served on the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association board of directors for five years.
An avid boater, he sold his Grand Banks dealership in 2001 and has spent the last few years cruising from Puget Sound through the Panama Canal, across the Atlantic and around Europe on a long-range trawler.
Lund spent the first 21 years of his career in the U.S. Air Force in logistics and transport. He then served as COO and CEO of a privately held manufacturing company.
David Goehring, Nordic Tugs’ longtime chief financial officer, has been serving as company president since the untimely passing of president/CEO Jim Cress in October 2008. He will continue to serve as vice president and CFO.
Nordic Tugs manufactures tug-style yachts from 26 to 54 feet.
