IBEX offers ‘stimulus program’ for boatbuildersPosted on
Organizers of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference have created a “boatbuilding stimulus program” to assist boat manufacturers and dealers in conducting business at IBEX at a minimal cost.
IBEX 2009 will take place Oct. 12-14 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami.
The IBEX Dealer Development Days program includes a combination of discounted exhibit rates for a 30′ x 30′ island exhibit in a dedicated pavilion for boat manufacturers to showcase new boat models, as well as the opportunity to secure in-water dock space for sea trials and demonstrations.
In addition, arrangements have been made for reduced hotel rates for boat manufacturers and dealers who participate in IBEX Dealer Development Days.
The program gives boat manufacturers who choose to not host a dealer meeting this year the opportunity to meet with current dealers, recruit new dealers, and showcase new boat models and dealer programs during the largest technical boatbuilding event of the year.
“It’s important we continue moving our industry forward and constantly provide innovative, affordable solutions for conducting business in this economy,” said Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine manufacturers Association, in a statement. “IBEX Dealer Development Days will allow us to help manufacturers facilitate valuable face-to-face meetings with dealers at as minimal cost as possible and at an event that provides additional tangible business opportunities.”
This offer is only available to boat manufacturers. Space is limited. There are 42 island exhibits available in the IBEX Dealer Development Days Pavilion and Showroom. Island exhibits are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, contact Tina Sanderson at (802) 879-8324 or Anne Dunbar at (716) 662-4708.
IBEX is owned and produced by Professional BoatBuilder magazine and the NMMA.
