Ranger extends furlough by two weeksPosted on
Ranger Boats is extending a two-week furlough for two additional weeks because of reduced demand.
Flippin, Ark.-based Ranger is one of 15 boat brands owned by Genmar Holdings, which filed June 1 for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Ranger officials told local media the furlough was unrelated to the Chapter 11 filing.
Company officials could not immediately be reached this morning for comment.
Ranger manufactures fiberglass fishing boats, including a series of bass, multi-species, fish ‘n play and saltwater boats.
