Brunswick awards scholarships to dealers’ children

Posted on

Brunswick Corp. and the Brunswick Foundation recently awarded 26 sons and daughters of dealership owners and employees in the U.S. and Canada a total of $52,000 in college scholarships.

The awards, under the Brunswick Corporation Dealer Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program, recognize academic excellence, leadership capabilities and civic involvement during the last school year. Recipients are chosen by an independent committee of academic professionals at three leading Midwestern universities.

The scholarship program is part of Brunswick Dealer Advantage, which offers services designed to help the dealer attract more retail customers, reward employees or improve operations.

“The Brunswick Dealer Advantage scholarship program allows us to directly help dealers support the dreams and aspirations of students with extraordinary talents,” said Judith P. Zelisko, president of the Brunswick Foundation as well as Brunswick’s vice president in charge of the corporate tax department.
