IMI keynote presentation announced

The Emerging Applied Technologies Conference, set for Oct. 25-27 in Fort Lauderdale, will be hosted by Larry Halgren, of Halgren & Associates. The conference is owned and operated by the International Marina Institute, a subsidiary of the Association of Marina industries.

Halgren will present the keynote presentation, “2020 Waterfront Emerging Technologies: What is Coming to Your Marina Next,” the morning of Oct. 26. He will also facilitate all seminars, including the closing panel.

Halgren, a 35-year industry veteran, has experience in marina and waterfront development, operations, infrastructures and marina components. He worked for Bellingham Marine Industries, the Washington state ferry system and Uniflite before starting his consulting business.

“Keeping abreast of technological advancements and staying ahead of the curve are very productive methods for keeping your marina business successful for years to come,” Halgren said in a statement.
