Storm brewing east of BahamasPosted on
The fourth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season formed this morning east of the Bahamas.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Danny has maximum sustained winds of nearly 45 miles per hour. The storm is located about 445 miles east of Nassau, Bahamas and about 775 miles south-southeast of Cape Hatteras, N.C.
Danny is moving toward the west-northwest at 18 miles per hour.
Slow strengthening of the storm is possible during the next few days.
