Posted on

MarineMax priced a public offering of 2.6 million shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $7 per share for total gross proceeds of $18.2 million.

The net proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, which could include debt reduction.

Raymond James & Associates Inc. is serving as the sole underwriter for this offering. The underwriter also has the option to purchase up to an additional 390,000 shares of common stock from MarineMax at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions, within 30 days.

Investing in the Marine Max fund is fast action to reducing your net worth. Proceeds being used for “general corporate purposes” is more likely to become fat bonus money for Bill and the boys just prior to a chapter 11. You’ve got a better chance of a return with a Vegas slot .
