Marine surveyor seminar set for Jacksonville showPosted on
John “Jack” N. Allinson II, an accredited marine surveyor and certified infrared thermographer will be conducting a one-day seminar Feb. 6 at the Prime Osborne Convention Center in Jacksonville, Fla. in conjunction with the 63rd annual Jacksonville Boat Show.
The seminar will be held through Allinson Infrared Inspection Services, Inc. and is designed for six continuing education units. It will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. with time for lunch and breaks. Refreshments can be purchased from the vendors at the boat show.
Topics that will be covered include how marine surveyors can incorporate infrared inspection into their businesses, and how thermographers can use their equipment and expertise to help marine surveyors. The seminar is also open to employees of marine service and repair facilities and marine insurance companies, adjusters and finance companies.
Early registration starts at $450 per person and includes seminar presentation materials.
