Those looking for something a little different should visit the fourth annual Boatbuilders Show on Cape Cod, which will be held from Feb. 12-14 at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis, Mass.

A large selection of custom and limited-production vessels will be displayed in both wood and fiberglass in both sail and power. All are designed and built by more than 30 exhibitors.

“Smaller builders of custom and limited production boats are often lost in the maze of mainstream boat shows,” said Scott Dayton of Hyannis Marina, a key organizer to the show, in a statement. “Buyers looking for the kind of craftsmanship and unique design usually only found on limited-production boats have few opportunities to go on board and compare workmanship and features.”

The show will also allow attendees to discuss all the details of the boat directly with the person who built it and order a custom, one-of-a-kind vessel that will be a durable investment for years to come.
