Marine Flotation Products to sell boat-lift rightsPosted on
Marine Flotation Products is looking to sell and/or license its patent-pending technology rights to its boat lift, the SlipLift, and its salvage products, the SalvageLift, Vessel-Retriever and Salvage-Retriever.
“Instead of attempting to spread ourselves in too many directions at once, we think it’s best to offer other companies, which are better capable of commercializing and marketing our existing products, a chance to get in on the action, while we concentrate on the custom market,” said Kim Oshinski, Marine Flotation Products president, in a statement.
Arvada, Colo.-based Marine Flotation Products has designed custom catamaran lifts based on the same technology as its SlipLift and has also created custom floats for vessel detection system buoys for the Navy.
The company is further developing its patent-pending ideas for a DockJack, PropJack and Vessel Service Lift.
